Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These terms govern your use of profesh (the “service”). By using the service, you agree to them.

The service

profesh scans a Google Drive album you provide and returns the photos in which you appear, using face matching. The service is provided on an “as is” basis and results may be incomplete or imperfect.

Eligibility

You must be an adult (or have the legal capacity to enter these terms in your jurisdiction) to use the service. It is intended for finding yourself in your own photos, not for identifying other people.

Your responsibilities

  • Only upload selfies of yourself, and only submit albums you are authorized to access.
  • Do not use the service to identify, track, or surveil other people without their consent.
  • Do not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.

Consent to biometric processing

By submitting selfies you consent to the computation of face embeddings from your photos and the album’s photos for the sole purpose of matching, as described in our Privacy Policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

Your content

You keep all rights to the selfies and photos you provide. You grant us only the limited, temporary permission needed to process them and return your results, and that permission ends when the data is deleted. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to submit the content you upload or link.

Disclaimer & liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or your violation of these terms or the rights of others — for example, submitting photos you were not authorized to use.

Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the service, or restrict access, at any time — particularly to prevent abuse or comply with the law. You may stop using the service at any time.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Questions? Contact us.
